KINDA LIKE DALLAS....

When I sat down yesterday, I had no idea of what I was going to write.  "My Story" just flew out of my fingertips.  I didn't know the momentum it would release...  That being said, an antique dealers work week is on the weekends, with Friday being the big Estate Sale/garage sale days...So I'm leaving you with a cliff hanger.       I'm off to make a living...treasures await!!

That's the nice thing about blogging. It's totally on YOUR schedule. You can write Chapter 2 next week or you could write it 6 months from now. Whatever fits! Readers will bob along with you!

Hope you found some treasures - I came home empty handed today, perhaps next time. I love my Dad's shoes as well! We will be celebrating it next weekend - will be posting it. Dad is from Westfield, WI by the way.

Hi there,
Many thanks for popping over to see me and leaving me a comment.
Not many people know about Biba, unless they are my age and lived in London in the late 60's, early '70's. I spent so much of my time in there. Everyone who was anyone could be seen in Biba. My friends and I would spend all day in there, sitting on the sofas, trying on the clothes and make up. I still have my Biba false eyelashes, eyeshadow and nail varnish and, last year, on The Antiques Roadshow, a women bought a Biba jacket for a valuation. It was EXACTLY the same as the one that I still have in my wardrobe and they valued it at £600 to £800 pounds !!!! I can still get into it.
Have a great weekend. XXXX
