MY INSPIRATION...

The best way for me to start working on new jewelry is to buy new stuff.  There is nothing like a new chain, and new batch of bead caps or a new strand of crystal beads to get my creative juices flowing..

My work bench never gets cleaned.

It always ends up looking like this....

I like the idea of a treasure hunt.

But thats how I roll... I like having everything there in front of me...it inspires and motivates me... I need to  look at and play with all of the bits and bobs... There is no way to be neat about this....

                                                             I have tried...

                                                             And I have failed....

My Poor kitchen table...Once a place to socialize..

I need to see everything in order to create something.....I
love the bits and pieces around me..

Out of the chaos comes some kind of order...

                                                                          A love token...

My husband is an extremly talented metal artist...He makes me things...He presents them to me...I don't
ask for them..  He does them for me because he loves me...He encourages me..  He believes in me.
He puts up with me... He inspires me..

Yes. I'm with you on all accounts. I have no dining room, kitchen or office since all this started for me as well, and I think you know how I feel about Andrew Henry. We are lucky women. That piece he made you is beautiful. A talented family indeed!

I laughed at your "pill bottle" comment
I think they just made it smaller to make us baby boomers feel older than we are : )

How can we get creative if we don't see things that inspire us...like you said...get the creative juices flowing. I'm like you Cynthia...I have to see my supplies in order for the creative process to start. Hey ...you can always eat with your plate on your lap right?!! I LOVE your jewelry and you are a lucky woman to have your husband give you beautiful things that he's made with his own hands. That's extra special. I hope you have a WONDERFUL day tomorrow my friend...take care

There is that very thin line between genius and insanity.....and all good artists walk it well.

I like how you roll and I adore how your husband supports you!

Thanks for stopping by Treasures Found. Isn't it funny how we hop around from blog to blog, never really knowing how we got there? I am glad you did. Welcome! Enjoy the day! Erin
