MAYBE I’LL REINCARNATE AS A CAT.

BECAUSE WHEN YOU’ER A CAT...

LIFE CAN BE SWEET.....

and if you like sleeping, then being a cat
is a very good thing to be.

CYNTHIA & DAVID TAKE GOOD CARE OF US.

and love us even if we’re naughty....

WE TAKE GOOD CARE OF OURSELVES
AND ARE NOT ALOT OF TROUBLE.

WE ARE EXTREMELY PHOTOGENIC.

ITS JUST ONE OF OUR MANY TALENTS.

Not all cats are as lucky as ours.  Please spay your pets.
Encourage others to do so.   And go to your local shelter
to adopt.   Our cats have brought us endless hours of joy.
They are my best friends.  I think that they are one of the
higher life forms with a grace and wisdom that sometimes
blows my mind.   When I am feeling blue, a little snuggle
brings me back.  When I lie down on my bed for a little
nap, there they are, close and tight next to me.  Surrounding
me with their love.

Good Morning Cynthia! Aww your kitties are cute. I agree...cat's are such a pleasure to have around and can sure make us smile and laugh at their antics. Only Olly comes in most of the time...Lizzy will come in but is very nervous and wants out right away. She's a true farm cat now..funny thing is she was raised in a house full of cats and had never stepped foot on grass until she came here last winter. She's also the most bold of the two! I'm glad you have your kitties to keep you company and to cheer you on down days...wish we lived closer though as I think the two of us would have a ball. One day we'll get together :) Have a wonderful day my friend! Hugs to you....Maura :)

Ah Maura, you are too kind, too sweet for words. Tears in my eyes knowing that you are in my world. Your blog is a look into a lifestyle that I so admire. Kinder and gentler. You are a rare gem.

Great photos. I don't have any pets now, but I once lived with two beautiful kitty cats who slept on either side of me on the cold winter nights in New York. There's nothing quite like the love you get from an animal. It definitely helps when you're feeling blue. Thanks for sharing!

We have owned several cats and now, 2 dogs. They were all "someones chuck-outs" as my friend Linda says. They say a rescued animal loves you more. I wonder if they feel human emotions like "fortunate" and "grateful" to be given a second chance? Who knows, but I get such love, loyalty and companionship for my animals, I am the one who feels fortunate and grateful. XX

HI Cynthia
Well your kitties kats have the life!! I could handle a bit of this.... you are right thought they don't all have such sweet lives.. I once had a stray birth six kittens in my backyard.. the cat protections society said the best thing for them was to have them out down.. they were feral.. it was awful.. i had to capture all of them .. 2 at a time and take them to the vet... I ended up keeping the mother.. had here desexed.. and then.. when eventually I couldn't keep her in a move to a unit.. some kind person adopted her.. she is a princess now.. hahaha

Ok.. have a lovely week.. xxx Julie

Good morning Cynthia. I am introducing myself and visiting your blog as I am a fellow contributor to the fun new collective Beautiful World

Your cats look gorgeous, I hope you will post some photos of them on the BW site sometimes.

Our story was the same as Julie’s. Princess (ist photo) the tortoiseshell , gave birth to 5 kittens in our yard. Everyone was feral...we had to get traps, trap them, take them to the vet, have them spayed, shots etc. then took care of them...lured them into our tiny house...David didn’t even like cats. Soon, they won our hearts. We needed to care for them..one after another, they ran off or worse. It was horrible at the time. These two remained and have been with us for 13 years now. They stay indoors. I have just started to let them out with me while we “picnic” in our side yard.
All of this because of irresponsible behavior on the part of someone who just didn’t care, and didn’t get their cat spayed. These people treat animals like just some throwaway trash.....don’t get me started!!!

I know the love of a pet. Dogs and Cats both have been members of my family all my life. Yours are just lovely. My daughter is dog sitting while we are up here in Seattle. Good for the soul after losing my Jake. My last cat was "Clyde", he was a lover boy. Keeping my fingers crossed for you in my giveaway today!

aww cynthia :) how sweet~~ what lucky kitties, and lucky you and your partner to be so loved. and i liked what you said at the bottom. i feel the same way about cats and animals in general.

we have two wonderful boy kitties who i'm afraid don't get quite as much love as they used to now that there's a toddler in the house. but we still try to make special time for cat cuddles and brushing so they know they are still loved as much as ever.

hugs and love to you :) and your sweeties~~~

Hi Cynthis,
Your cats are darling! Photos so sweet. Your babies look very content. Makes me miss my old kittie Calliope who used to jump on my chest every morning and lick the tip of my nose! And yes, being a kitty wouldn't be have bad....lounging in the sun most of the day.....sounding better every minute except for the hairballs : ) Cheers, Penny

Awww! I love your cats! And I am 100% in agreement with you - spay and neuter, people!! Adopt from a shelter, there are so many pets who need homes ... or, if you're like me, just cut out the middleman and take in some strays! That's how I ended up with 3 cats and a dog, lol.

Oh I so agree, I would be heartbroken if my beautiful cat were not with me. She is just such a personality ... I wish every cat on earth had her life...if only.
