IS THIS MY BEATNHEART??

This is the time of year to reflect on all that you have done, what you can do to improve it, and how to
make the new year a beginning of a fresh start and a chance to make things better.

I want my life to be new and improved and  to get rid of the old and things that don’t work for me
anymore...to examine and reflect...

Christmas feels different to me this year.  Usually I look at it as a sad and lonely time...
a time that makes me miss having a family that is close and although that is still true I
feel a sense of maturity and growth in myself and upon closer examination, I realize this
has happened in part because of this blog....

I love being a part of this community of women ( and a few brave men) who are doers, who are active and doing
worthwhile things and are walking the walk while they are talking the talk...

        I’M TALKING ABOUT YOU.

Those of you who have shared with me and made me feel less lonely...and the
courage and bravery of many of you as you roughed tough seas and made it through triumphantly.

i celebrate and salute you.....and thank you

Don’t forget THE GIVEAWAY...You have until this Friday, Dec 10th  when I announce the winner.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR MAKING all of this THIS SO MUCH FUN...  Cynthia

What a great post :) I like what the holidays mean to you. I just wrote about the same topic (though I rambled on and on about it). I am sorry there is an air of longing though for you this season. But I'm glad you are feeling so good in such healthy ways. I am glad to have met you this year. A beautiful soul - a wise woman. Happy holidays to you!

Awwww Cynthia! I sure feel lucky that I get to see your work and thoughts and the love you send out. I hope your holiday time continues to be better than past times. You deserve joy. You deserve a feeling of family, even if it isn't the family you were born into. It's the family you chose and we chose you! :-)

I'm glad you found a feeling of connection out here, I felt a connection to you right away - so many fun things in common. I think it's good for us all to makes changes, shake things up from time to time. My husband and I do this in September each year (out birthday month). We declare it our "year of" this or that and work to incorporate that theme into our life that year. I look forward to seeing where the next part of your journey will take you friend. Sending you much love this Christmas.

Oh Cynthia, what a lovely post and wonderfully written. I so agree; Blogland and the PEOPLE who give of their hearts and creativity have literally changed my life. I think that now since the chance to "publish" our words and creations, the global community is now ours for the pleasure. I am so grateful that you came by; how ever did you find me? I am originally from Pico Rivera, CA!!!! I know Long Beach well. I will enter your give away for I LOVE THIS TYPE OF JEWELRY! I too am a musician, but not professionally. I play the harp, I am a French teacher and I draw and write. So pleased to meet you, and please, please know that you are always welcome and we have no need any longer to feel alone.....we have so many amongst us..and we are part of that community.
