JUST TRYING TO STAY DRY!!!

The rain has hit Southern California with a vengence!    One day there is not enough rain and we
are in the middle of a drought and next thing you know we are experiencing torrential downpours
for 4 non-stop days with more in sight.  Princess and Ginger and I are lucky
enough to be able to stay home with a fire a blazing.  Poor Mr.Beatnheart is out there
working and driving the 50 mile round trip to his shop in Los Angeles.

This is like real winter!              and boy we are not used to it!       and we’re all getting kinda grouchy..

Ginger lookin kinda grouchy...

LIFE IS SWEET AND I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR A WARM,DRY HOUSE,
and without any doubt the fireplace in my bedroom.  I hope all of you are having
a safe and sane week without too much stress and worry.      Cynthia

DON’T FORGET...I’M CLOSING DOWN THE BOUTIQUE...SOME THINGS ARE STILL AVAILABLE SO DON’T HESITATE TO EMAIL ME !

Hi Cynthia!
Too funny, we both blogged about the rain today! We sure are not used to it here, are we?! So sorry your hubby has to venture out in it, mine is on holiday break thankfully. (although we keep finding reasons to be out in it ACK!)
I think yesterday was the last day of the play, unless they extended it? I wish I had thought to tell you about it before hand - I know you're a musician. D'oh.
And geez, what's up with my brain?! I think I mooshed your being in LB and being at the SM Airport flea market thingie, together into your being at the LB flea market. dodo head with middle aged brain. I haven't been to Wertz's in a very long time, I'll have to get by one of these days.
Happy almost Christmas to you and your dear ones!
Sally

Hello Cynthia, just to let you know that the smoky quartz necklace arrived safely today! It's lovely and I am so grateful that I won it. I'll do a blog post about it (and you) as soon as I get a little free time. Happy Solstice and Holidays!! xoxo Deborah

Hi Cynthia!
We're nearly afloat over here in WLA! I heard them say on the news this morning that LB was especially hard hit by the rain yesterday. Hope you don't have a leaky boat! ;)
Have fun at the bookstore, wish I could go too. I need to get up off my rumpus and start wrapping stuff.
Merriest of Christmases to you and your dear ones!

You sure have happy, cute cozy kitties! But I can relate as my two pups are going stir crazy and so am I! But, we do need this rain..... A little worried though as the corner of our skylight is leaking a small drop at a time at the foot of our bed.....keep your fingers crossed we don't end up sleeping in a swimming pool!!!!!

You have rain - we have snow. So like you I am thankful to be warm indoors. But might venture out to the elements today. Hope you have a warm and dry and lovely Christmas.

Aw, your kitties are so adorable. I had a little calico once, her name was Weenie. Aren't they pistols? Snuggling with cats is a wonderful thing. Stay dry!!
