Already the Spring BULBS are in bloom.

We are having a very early spring this year.
Many of my bulbs (AND MY BLUBS) are already flowering.  I saw
the first of the bright yellow daffodils peaking
their little bonneted heads within the hedge.

The bees, the hummingbirds love this bush...
I don’t know what its called...I think it comes from
Australia.   It’s a massive vine like thing that I have
to hack away at a few times a year or it would cover our house.
I believe it could have been planted when our house was first
built back in the 1920s...It is that gigantic.

My boy cat Ginger just loves to eat grass...He’s
like a little goat.  I let him out to graze...under
my watchful eye of course.

Mallow bush kicking butt in the front garden.

Yeah that’s right...peach tree already in bloom.

Hope winter is treating you kind.  You are probably ready
for some blossoms yourself.  Life in California does
have its advantages.

Things are going so well for me right now...it’s a little scary almost.

LOVE your pictures! But, had to giggle because your post is about 'blubs'.

Which ones are the blubs? :D (ducking)

Sigh... it will be a while before we see any blooms, so I guess I will just enjoy yours for the time being.

Oh Cynthia .... I bet your garden looks stunning. Although we are in the depths of Winter still, today is going to be 17C !! I am going to Cambridge today and I haven't the foggiest idea of what to wear !! I think that I'm going to be too hot !!
Our first cat was ginger and looked very similar to yours. His name was Jaffa and I still think about him.
Have a great weekend Cynthia. XXXX

Its so mild today in the UK it could almost be LA. My favourite west coast bloom is the Jacaranda tree - makes me long for the W Hollywood streets lined with them. Brilliant to hear life is good for you - I can almost feel it from over here :-)

Gorgeousness! Ginger looks much like a cat I had named Clyde, he was lovely. The wildflowers are popping up around here right now, so pretty.
Don't be scared, it wastes the wonderfullness of what's happening for you right now, enjoy!

oh Ginger is so gorgeous!
I have that orange thing, i think it's Crocosmia. I love it that we have the same flowers all these miles apart across the pond!

Yes, California does have its advantages! However, we also have things blooming here in the mid-west. Such a calm winter...very surreal.

Grinning with Juliette over your "blubs" in the title. ;) None of your gorgeous blooms look like blubs. Now I certainly have blubs when I work on my jewelry. hehe :)

Hey, guess what...our son lives in Long Beach too. :)
