Life after Picnik

As some of you may know, Picnik, the online photo editor, is going away.  When I heard this
I panicked...I love Picnik... I’ve been using it exclusively and now what was I going to do?

I heard about another photo editor called LaLuna and I have

What do you all use?

This post is cute; short and to the point. Hope is a good thing!

I use photoshop...but I'm a photographer so I already had it. I think there are some other good/free programs out there.

Hi Cynthia!

Try PicMonkey.com on for size! We just launched a couple weeks ago, so we're baby fresh and user friendly! PicMonkey was built by a couple of the engineers who brought you Picnik, so it should feel quite familiar (but with a twist!)

Let us know what you think!

Cheers,
Jenn

I use a geriatric version of Corel Photopaint. So old the serial numbers are in roman numerals. :)

Is Picasa going away too?? I have never used Picnik....though I see the name on Picasa....
I certainly hope Picasa is NOT going away. It suits my needs perfectly.

Do let me know, if you can, my dear.

I use Gimp, it`s free and exactly the same, if not better than Photoshop. I use Linux as my operating system (also free) and this came with it. You can download it for Windows or Mac as well. Picasa is okay too, but anything Google shits out has been deteriorating as of late. Good luck!

I was sad to learn Picnik was closing since I use it for my header photo. I've found PicMonkey and I love it. I see they've already added some new features and they're going to have collages soon...maybe that feature has already started and I don't know it!!! I also have Photoshop Elements that I use a lot but I'm really liking PicMonkey the best so far. There's another one that I've forgotten the name of ...I'll come back with it when I remember then name ;)
