Jewelry Affaire Magazine Summer 2013

I have the honor of being featured in the Summer 2013 edition
of Jewelry Affaire magazine...Stacks of Bangles ...on pages 12-13...
I'm creeping my way closer and closer to the front...
What's next?  Cover?!!  well why not...

This is the third magazine I've been in now...
each time is as thrilling as the first

There is nothing like seeing yourself in print, seeing your work
on the racks of one of my own personal favorite hang-outs, Barnes and Nobles,
and walking into that store, going to the  mag rack with a cup of Starbucks
and sitting down and reading about....me!

For all of you out there, and you know who I'm talking about,
who has not yet submitted their work to a magazine,
go ahead and do it...It is a thrill of a lifetime...
It takes a little time to do it, but it's well worth it...

I can see you on the cover next time; it is a thrill to be published. My poem "He Walked Beside Her" is in the current issue of Lutheran Journal and like you, I find it amazing to be in print.

The first time for me was thrilling as were the other times..It is fun, you're right. Congratulations!

And I did the same thing. Got a coffee and sat and read my mag and book in B&N here in lala land and then in LA and then in NY..lol I know silly..My daughter took her picture with the WWC book in CT and sent it to me...

Congrats again! I might think about submitting again after I see how the second round goes. I guess they can hold on to things for a good long while from what I hear.. I haven't had a chance to take a gander at the summer Jewelry Affaire yet.
Maybe you'll be on the cover next time!

Congratulations, Cynthia! Being in print is such an accomplishment. I admire your work and if I lived in the US I'd certainly enjoy that coffee in the cool airconditioning of B&N with Jewelry Affaire open to your page!

Congratulations! I did see your bangles and am always happy when I recognize the artist names of work I admire. I've got some earrings in this issue and probably need to make a trip to B&N to sit and have coffee, too!
It does take a while to get your work back, but when you get them back faster, it's because they weren't used- so longer is better!

Well, Cynthia, I'm never again going to buy any magazine if you're not on the cover of it. And you can tell the publishers that from me.
